Carpenter and builder of Dublin. Listed as a carpenter, with ALEXANDER MCMINN , at 9 Great Strand Street in Wilson's Dublin Directory for the years 1810 and 1814. The editions for the years 1815 to 1820 edition show Thomas only at this address. He has moved to 21 Stafford Street in the edition for 1822, where he is described as 'carpenter and builder'. He continues to be listed with the same address and designation in Wilson's directories until 1837 and in The Post Office Directory for 1839 and 1844 but has disappeared from Pettigrew & Oulton's directory for 1847. He was a subscriber to William Stitt's The Practical Architect's Ready Assistant; or Builder's Complete Companion(Dublin, 1819).
A John C. McMinn was admitted to the Royal Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture on 28 November 1825.(1)
