Builder, or possibly architect, who according to the entry on him in the Architectural Publication Society's Dictionary of Architecture,(1) rebuilt the steeple of St Columb's Cathedral, Derry, in 1803-1805 and later, in 1825, 'thoroughly repaired' the cathedral. The Dictionary of Architecture also credits Murray with improvements to St Stephen's Church, Dublin. See also MARK MURRAY [2] , who may be the same person.
