Architect, of London. John Murray was born in Co. Donegal in 1864 but went to London at an early age and remained there for the rest of his career, for which see A. Stuart Gray, Edwardian Architecture (1985), 270, and Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), II, 234. During the 1890s Murray was in partnership with Frank Foster as Murray & Foster.
