Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter, who, according to the inscription on the datestone, built St Patrick's RC church, Portaferry, in 1762. The inscription reads: 'All ye good Christ/ians pray for ye bene/factors of this chapel/which was built by the/Masons Dorians and Mr/Henery Murland/Carpenter A.D. 1762'.(1)
