Richard Molloy was awarded one of two second-class premiums by the Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture on 15 June 1815.(1) He may conceivably be the same person as the Richard Mason Molloy, painter of landscape, figure and architectural subjects, of Castle Street, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, who is listed in Pigot & Co.'s City of Dublin and Hibernian Provincial Directory (1824), 306.
