English gentleman architect, for biography and works of whom see Howard Colvin, A Biographical dictionary of British architects 1600-1840 (3rd edn., 1995), 653-655. Miller advised Bishop Richard Pococke on the restoration of the Gothic choir at Kilkenny Cathedral in 1756-57(1) but is not known to have visited Ireland.
