Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer. John Charles Mahon graduated BAI from Trinity College, Dublin, in 1873.(1) He was a pupil of VALENTINE BROWNE  VALENTINE BROWNE of the Great Southern & Western Railway for a year and spent a further year as assistant engineer to ANDREW CHRISTOPHER PALLES. H ANDREW CHRISTOPHER PALLES. H e was subsequently engaged on the construction of the North Dublin Tramway.(2) He died in 1886 or 1887.(3)
