Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

English architect, for whom see Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001). George Ostell Leicester may have been a pupil of SAMUEL BEAZLEY. A  SAMUEL BEAZLEY. A design for alterations or additions to Cahir Castle, Co. Tipperary, in the RIBA drawings collection, which the catalogue attributes to Leicester on stylistic grounds, probably relates to Beazley's alterations and improvements to the castle, of circa 1838-1840.(1)
