Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Dublin. John Allen was admitted to the Dublin Society's Schools of Drawing in Architecture, Landscape and Ornament in 1765 and awarded a premium in 1767.(1) An architect of the same name was awarded the third premium in the Dublin Blue Coat School competition in 1773.(2)
