Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Welsh sculptor, for biography of whom see Who was Who, 1951-1960, 58y. Early in life he John was employed by THOMAS NICHOLLS THOMAS NICHOLLS . During his long and productive career he sculpted the bronze statues of William Lecky (1838-1903) in the Front Square at Trinity College, Dublin, in 1905(1) and of Colonel Edward James Saunderson, M.P., (1837-1906) in Portadown in 1909.(2)
