Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Agent to Augustus Frederick, 3rd Duke of Leinster. As such he was responsible for the erection of farm dwellings on the Duke's estate, which were illustrated in the Irish Builder in 1871.(1) Perhaps the same person as Charles William Hamilton (1802-1880) of Hamwood, Co. Meath, for whom see Burke's History of the Landed Gentry of Ireland (1904), 242.
