Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

'Architect', of Knockaney, Bruff, Co. Limerick, who designed curate's houses at Knockaney, Co. Limerick, in 1908(1) and Herbertstown, Co. Limerick, in 1909.(2)  According to his 1911 census return, he was born in Co. Limerick in 1849 or 1850. At the time of the census he had beeen married for thirty-five years to his wife, Alice, and had four surviving children, one of whom, John, was a carpenter and coachbuilder.
