Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Mathematician and surveyor of Essex Street, Dublin. Listed as such in Wilson's Dublin Directory for 1762. William Gibson may have been a nephew of ROBERT GIBSON ROBERT GIBSON , whom he succeeded as Deputy Surveyor-General of Ireland on the latter's death in 1760.(1)
