Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Surveyor and architect, of Lincoln, for whom see Sarah Bendall, ed., Dictionary of Land Surveyors and Local Map-Makers of Great Britain and Ireland 1530-1850 (2nd edition, 1997), II, 186.
Richard Fowler came to Ireland circa 1820 to survey the Grocers' Company's estates in Co. Derry and effectively acted as the company's agent between 1821 and 1822. His final account with the company was settled in February 1823. He designed some buildings on the company's estates, including a house at Monabuoy.
