Builder, of Carlow, active in the 1850s and 1860s. William Faircloth, who built Mount Wolseley, Co. Carlow, to designs by LANYON & amp; LYNN in 1863-64,(1) may be the same person as 'Mr Faircloth, architect, Carlow' who designed the Catholic chapel at Davidstown, Co. Wicklow, in 1876.(2) He was associated with the Carlow builder Joseph Lynch (see JOSEPH LYNCH ) in the execution of the memorial window to Mrs Stopford in Clonmore church (CI), Co. Carlow, in 1857.(3)
