Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Stonecutter, of Cork, active in the last decade of the eighteenth century and opening years of the nineteenth. Charles Broad and CHARLES GREAVES  CHARLES GREAVES were responsible for rebuilding the almshouse in the parish of St Peter, Cork, in 1795.(1) Broad also executed a mural monument to Robert Pratt (d. 1793) in the Church of Ireland church at Castlemartyr, Co. Cork, and another to John Musgrave (d.1800) in the cathedral at Lismore, Co. Waterford.(2)  He executed a 'Cartuch Step' at Castle Bernard, Co. Cork, in 1802.(3)  His death took place at  Duncan's Street, Cork, on 26 May 1803.(4)
