Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter and builder, of 35 Usher's Quay, Dublin. Listed as such in Wilson's Dublin Directory 1819-1837, in the Post Office Dublin Directory for 1839 and in Pettigrew & Oulton's Dublin Almanac for 1841. Charles Disney was admitted a freeman of the city of Dublin at Christmas, 1817, as a member of the Corporation of Bricklayers.(1)   His name appears on a list of Dublin master carpenters and builders compiled in March 1834.(2)
