Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder, of Thurles, Co. Tipperary, listed as such in Pigot & Co.'s City of Dublin and Hibernian Provincial Directory (1824), 311. In 1813 Delany estimated for a staircase, porch and gallery in Thurles Catholic church.(1)   He is also, presumably, the William Delany who was paid for various works at Kilbragh Church of Ireland church, Co. Tipperary, between 1815 and 1817 and the' Mr Delaney'  wjp was paid one guinea in 1820 in connection with Thurles Church of Ireland church.(2)
