Carpenter and measurer of Dublin, or perhaps a father and son with the same name and trade. Christopher Dalton, carpenter and measurer, of 19 Queen Street is listed in Wilson's Dublin Directory for the years 1797-1800. From 1803-4 Christopher Dalton & Son, carpenters and measurers, are listed at 9 Bull Lane, and from 1805-9 Christopher Dalton alone is named at this address. Christopher Dalton continues to appear in Wilson's Directory from 1810 until 1834, his address for these years being given as 28 Grangegorman Lane.

A person of this name was admitted to the Royal Dublin Society's School of Architectural Drawing on 7 Feb 1771.(1)
