Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

English architect, for whom see Catalogue of the Drawings Collection of the Royal Institute of British Architects C-F (London, 1972), 36, and Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), I, 402-3. In Ireland Cockerell designed Blessingbourne at Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone, for Hugh De Fellenberg Montgomery, completed in 1874,(1) and the Catholic church at Fivemiletown, 1870.(2) He also designed Clonalis, Co. Roscommon, of circa 1878-80, for Charles Owen O'Conor Don.(3) He was the son of CHARLES ROBERT COCKERELL. CHARLES ROBERT COCKERELL.
