Nature: New church to seat 700 formed out of existing male and female national schools (an L shaped structure). Chancel to be added at S end, with sacristy beside it. Deviding wall between male and female schools will be cut through and arch formed. E wall of male school will be dismantled an aisle built over yard. FS laid on 6 Jan 1895. Contractor: E. & P. O'Flynn.
