The house is a stolid mass of building with good stables, garden and orchards, standing about 220 feet above the sea, in about 120 acres of ornamental grounds. Dr Ussher's inclome is 1,100 pounds and 4 glebes worth about 400 pounds more.' (OS Memoir)
