Nature: New college. With Kearns Deane. Elizabethan style. U-shaped plan, with high entrance tower. Limestone. Cost £35,000. Opened 7 Nov 1849. Clerk of Works: Daniel O'Callaghan. Contractor: John Butler, Rathmines. Statue of Queen Victoria on gable end of Aula Maxima presented by Sir Thomas Deane and unveiled during Queen's visit to Cork in 1849 (replaced in 1940s by statue of St Finbarr).

Nature: Hall of residence with lecture room for Church of Ireland students (Berkeley Hall)). For William Bence-Jones in association with the Rev. Dr George Webster.  To have been carried out by Bence-Jones's workmen under a foreman.   After Bence Jones was boycotted, building was suspended and resumed by Webster with Delany as contractor only after Bence Jones had given up his association with the project. Opened 1884.
