Nature: New Hiberno-Romanesque church on new site. Site and church gift of Thomas Cooke-Trench, of Millicent. Local limestone with Cumberland red sandstone dressings; 'the building is being carried out without a contractor by Mr Trench himself'. Windows by Heaton, Butler & Bayne. Carving by A.P. Sharpe. Estimated cost: £6000. Dedicated by Archbishop of Dublin, 29 Sep 1883.
