Reopened for business, 6 Nov 1919., 'though far from completion as a whole'. Almost entirely of ferro-concrete construction. General contractor: James Kiernan, Richmond Works, Dublin. Work 'approaching commpletion' in June 1920. Steel work by J. & C. McGloughlin, Dublin. Columns of concrete 'treated superficially as Scagliola imitation marble' by Bellman, Carter & Ivey, London. |
