Nature: Former 'gin palace' of W.G. Mooney 'suitably remodelled' to form new branch bank. Opened Summer 1878. Contractor: John Brodigan, Grantham St. Elaborately carved doorway executed by C.W. Harrison.

Nature: Bank premises at corner of Lower Abbey Street In destroyed area, 1916.  Rebuilding. Carving by C.W. Harrison & Sons in Co. Dublin granite. Reopened for business, 6 Nov 1919., 'though far from completion as a whole'. Almost entirely of ferro-concrete construction. General contractor: James Kiernan, Richmond Works, Dublin. Work 'approaching commpletion' in June 1920.  Steel work by J. & C. McGloughlin, Dublin. Columns of concrete 'treated superficially as Scagliola imitation marble' by Bellman, Carter & Ivey, London.
