Nature: Caen stone and marble font presented by Dean of Raphoe, 1878. Closes for improvements, including insertion of fine stained-glass window given by Sir McGarel Hogg and alteration of ceiling, &c. Reopened on St Patrick's Day 1880 after complete restoration.

Date: 1879-1880
Nature: Closes for improvements, including insertion of fine  and alteration of ceiling, &c. Reopened on St Patrick's Day 1880 after complete restoration. E end emphasized so as to form an internal chancel, with floor raised above remaining part New open pitch pine roof and new pews. Gifts include stained-glass E window given by Sir McGarel Hogg, encaustic tiles around communion table, stone pulpit (not yet erected), prayer desk, brass eagle lectern, new organ (about to be erected) and another memorial window. (Both McGuinness and Larmour date restoration of interior to 1885).
