Nature: New church in 'French Pointed' style for Fr. James Cavanagh. Builder: Michael Meade, Gt Brunswick St (contract signed 30 Dec 1863). To cost £6,000. Halt in building between autumn 1864 and autumn 1865 because of death of Fr. Cavanagh. Consecrated 15 Sep 1866. (Design attr. to Ashlin by Donnelly)
