Nature: Winner of competition with design for turreted Gothic building clad in Portland stone, at junction of Westmoreland and D'Olier Sts. Known by JJO'C's contemporaries as 'O'Callaghan's chance', because he had for many years hoped to be commissioned to design a corner building. Contractor: J.W. Beckett.
