Nature: Attribution to Jarratt suggested by Casey:  '...the house is unique among Dublin townhouses of the period in being entered through a porte cochère.   This unusual arrangement is also found in a rare surviving drawing by Joseph Jarratt...While the drawing represents a four-bay house and No. 9 is of five bays, the dimensions tally.'
