Nature: Lombard Norman. Nave, aisless, transepts, semicircular apse with apsidal chapel beyond, 2 chapels of same form in transepts.  Massive & lofty tower and spire. Also sacristan's residence and connecting cloister.  Contractors: Charles Kilgallon, Sligo, & Joseph Clarence, Ballysadare (cut stone work). Cost: £20,000. Opened July 1874.
