Nature: New church in 13th cent. Gothic style, retaining tower of old church (but Leslie says new tower and spire were built 'soon afterwards'). To cost about £5,400. Contractor: John Collen, Portadown.. Memorial stone laid by Duke of Abercorn, 8? Oct 1870. Consecrated 20 Oct 1871. Work supervised by William Hunter.
