Nature: New altar and other improvements at cost of £800 through generosity of O'Neill family of Preston, Lancs, formerly of Shercock. Contractor: Francis Duffy, Park St, Monaghan. Altar erected by Earley & Co., Dublin. Mulligan states that chancel and sacristy were added in 1908.

Nature: Adds. & alts. including raising walls, new roof, ceilings, new lead light windows. Cost: £2,000. Boundary wall, gates & railings erected 1915. Contractor: Francis Duffy, Park St, Monaghan. According to Mulligan, tower was also raised and given belfry.
