Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Sculptor, of London, for whom see Ingrid Roscoe, ed., A Biographical Dictionary of Sculptors in Britain 1660-1851 (Yale University Press, 2009), 1236-1243. Among Theed's prolific output, there are at least three monuments in Ireland, all executed while the sculptor was working in Rome between 1826 and 1848, namely the monuments to members of the Somerville family In Kentstown Church of Ireland church, Co. Meath,(1) and another to Margaret Whitney Upton in Drung Church of Ireland church, Co. Cavan.(2)
