Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Dublin.   Francis Farrell emerges in the classified section of Thom's Directory  in 1871 at 10 Bishop Street and is named as architect to the Association for the Suppression of Street Begging in 1874 and 1875, his name also appearing in the street directory section of the Post Office Dublin Directory at 8 St Vincent Street North in the latter year. A 'F. Farrell' was responsible for work at the premises of 'Wallis & Sons', Dame Street, in June 1883.(1)  He is possibly the same person as Francis Sheppard Farrell (b. 1849), a son of FRANCIS JAMES FARRELL  FRANCIS JAMES FARRELL and grandson of WILLIAM FARRELL. WILLIAM FARRELL.
