BROWN, BENJAMIN *
- Born: - Died: -
Stone and marble mason, of Dobbin Street, Armagh, listed as such in Pigot & Co.'s City of Dublin and Hibernian Provincial Directory (1824) though not in Bradshaw's General Directory for 1820. According to Mulligan, Benjamin Brown made proposals in 1839 to add a black marble margin and and veined marble pediment to Rysbrack's monument to Dean Peter Drelincourt in Armagh Church of Ireland cathedral, which 'seem not to have been carried out'.(1)
