Italian painter, working in Ireland from 1834 or earlier until the 1860s or later, for whom see W.G. Strickland, A Dictionary of Irish Artists (1913), II, 245. Primarily a portrait painter, Piccioni also executed murals in St Malachy's church, Belfast, in the 1860s.(1)
