Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architectural assistant to GEORGE WILKINSON GEORGE WILKINSON , architect to the Poor Law Commissioners in Ireland, from March 1843 or earlier until the end of March 1844.(1)    While he was serving in this capacity, he drew an elevation of the doorway of the Antrim round tower for Wilkinson, who was collecting drawings of Irish antiquities in preparation for his book, Practical Geology, and Ancient Architecture of Ireland (1845).(2)
