Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Parish priest of Achonry, Co. Sligo, who was the 'architect, builder, clerk of works, all in one' of the new parish church built in 1883-84.   He had earlier been a curate at Gurteen, Co. Sligo, and was to serve there again as parish priest from 1896-1905

New cruciform Gothic church, costing £1,272 designed by PL, 'its architect, builder, clerk of works, all in one'.  Stained glass from Bruges. Marble and Caen stone altar.
