Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

'T.S.', of London, was an entrant in the Dublin Royal Exchange competition of 1768-9.(1) Possibly Thomas Sutton (b. 1746), for whom see Howard Colvin, A Biographical dictionary of British architects 1600-1840 (3rd edn., 1995), ?. Sutton, who won an award from the Society of Arts in 1764, was a pupil of JACOB LEROUX JACOB LEROUX , who also entered the competition. He exhibited architectural designs at the Royal Academy in 1771, 1772 and 1773.(2)
