Nature: Marble pulpit in perpendicular gothicstyle carved by SM during his 7-year apprenticeship to John Aloysius O'Connell, St Patrick's Art Marble Works, Cork. (Later removed.)

Nature: New church, designed with E.P. O'Flynn.  Sculpture on tympanum of W door. Statues of Sacred Heart and Madonna inside church, altars, font, tabernacle, candlesticks.  Entire cost borne by W. Dwyer, TD, managing director of Sunbeam Wolsey, Ltd. FS laid Jan 1945. Blessed and opened Oct 1945. .
