Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Alexander Duffe was one of the two representatives of the Bricklayer's Guild on the Common Council of Dublin in 1732.(1) He is possibly the same person as 'Mr Duffe the Architect', who was sent by THOMAS BURGH  THOMAS BURGH to look at the steeple of St Canice's cathedral, Kilkenny, in 1723.(2)
