Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Monumental sculptor, of Omagh, Co. Tyrone.   According to the 1911 census, Bernard Joseph Taylor was born in Westminster, London, in 1867 or 1868.  By the time of the census, he was in business as a monumental mason in Omagh, probably in partnership with his younger brother, Stanislaus J. Taylor.   He designed and executed a sculpture of Christ in the grounds of the convent at Omagh, Co. Tyrone, which was illustrated in the Irish Builder in 1910.(1)
