Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Edinburgh-born sculptor who worked successively in Glasgow, Liverpool and London, for whom see www.glasgowsculpture.com. A seven-foot high statue by Lawson of Robert Burns, cast from the mould of his colossal statue of the poet which was erected at Ayr in 1891, was unveiled in the Public Library in Belfast in September 1893.(1)
