Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Belfast.   According to the 1911 census, George Andrew Boyd was born in Belfast in 1849 or 1850. A notice in the Irish Builder of 6 July 1912 records his death at home in Belfast in the summer of 1912, adding that he had formerly been a partner in the firm of BOYD & BATT and chief building surveyor of Belfast Corporation.   He was unmarried and was living with his elder sister at the time of the census.
