Architects, of London, who were placed fourth in the Belfast Art Gallery and Museum competition of 1914.(1) Tait was probably Thomas Smith Tait (1882-1954), an assistant of the assessor, JOHN JAMES BURNET ; Savage and Lawson have not been identified The three men appear to have collaborated for the purposes of the competition rather than to have been in a formal partnership.
