Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter, of Dublin. In 1785 Robert Walker's plan and elevation for a house in Dame Court, Dublin, was approved by the Wide Streets Commissioners.(1) He may be the same person as the Robert Walker who was admitted to the Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture on 23 March 1769 and again on 22 February 1770(2) and as the 'Robert Walker, timber merchant' who subscribed to Robert Pool & John Cash, Views of the most remarkable public buildings, monuments and other edifices in the city of Dublin (1780).
