Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Painter, of London, who painted the figures in the chancel of St Bartholomew's Church, Ballsbridge, to designs by THOMAS MANLY DEANE THOMAS MANLY DEANE . Cosgrave & Strangways, who provide this information, give his Christian name as Sydney,(1) while Milne states less precisely that some of the decorative painting was carried out by 'a Mr Henry or John Smith'.(2)
