Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect and engineer, of Limerick, active from the late 1920s or earlier perhaps until 1951. Cecil Slade, a son of MARCUS GEORGE SLADE  MARCUS GEORGE SLADE and his wife, Elizabeth, née Warren, was born in Limerick on 18 June 1873.(1) He was diocesan architect for the eastern district of the Church of Ireland diocese of Killaloe from 1927(2) or earlier until 1951(3) or later. He continues to be listed in the Limerick Trades Directory section in Thom's Directory Ireland until 1951 but disappears in 1952.  At the time of the 1911 census of Ireland he was still unmarried and living with his parents.
