Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect who was responsible for repairs to a bridge on the Dundalk to Ardee road in Co. Louth, about three miles from Ardee, in 1822.(1) Perhaps the same person as the architect named Sillery who produced a proposal for stables at Slane Castle, Co. Meath(2) and who built the west end of Ardee Church of Ireland church circa 1812-14.(3)  A Charles Sillery, who died on 3 March 1843 at the age of eighty and other members of the Sillery family (including a Henry Sillery) are buried in the Church of Ireland graveyard at Slane.
