HUDSON, ERNEST R.

Architect, or architectural student, of Dublin. Ernest R. Hudson became a member of the AAI in 1920 and was commended for his steady attendance at the association's design class during the ensuing session.(1) During the following session, 1921-22, he won both second prize in the design and architectural history class and the President's Prize.(2) The following year he was awarded the Institute Prize for his design for an art gallery.(3) He was secretary of the class of design for the session 1923-24.(4) Despite this active participation in the affairs of the association, he resigned during the same session to enter a 'new sphere of work'.(5)
